Teacher
I have dreamed of teaching ever since I was in Kindergarten. There was never any question of what job I would have when I grew up. I have always wanted to make a difference in the lives of students, and I do so by making material meaningful, relevant, and accessible to all students. I have been a classroom teacher for 4 years. I taught 7th grade Science for one year, and have been teaching 6th grade Math for 3 years.
Designer
In becoming a teacher, I have found my true passion. Designing creative lessons that meaningfully integrate technology in the classroom has revitalized my passion in the world of education. I love diving into a project and learning how to overcome obstacles that happen along the way. The process of turning my vision of a lesson into a reality motivates me, and I want to help other teachers make their dreams a reality as well.
Learner
Being a teacher and a designer means nothing without being a learner. I never shy away from a challenge to learn new technologies and dive deeper in their features and uses. I embody the term life long learner because as much as I love sharing my knowledge with others, I appreciate what I can learn from other even more.
